United States - Brazil submarine cable system Monet will be delayed for six months to complete2016-12-13

The Brazil-US submarine cable system (Monet Cable), which is being built by Google, Angola Cable, Algar Telecom of Brazil and Antel Telecom of Uruguay, will be delayed until the second quarter of 2017.

According to the original plan, started in 2014 to start construction of the Monet Cable submarine cable system will be completed by the end of 2016, connecting Brazil, Santos, Fortaleza to Florida, through several South American countries, a total length of 10556 km.
